Real Voices from Our Community
“My son was very worried about doing the trial, but had the best time. Both the dancers and the teacher made him feel so welcome and un-selfconscious! Thank you.”
“You helped instill the love of dance in my child from before she could even walk and it’s a testament to you and everyone at Ballet North for providing such a wonderful space for us parents and our little ones who love to dance”
“Just wanted to say how much my daughter is enjoying the class. Her teacher is wonderful and she loves seeing him. She is improving each week thanks to him”
“It was amazing to see how my child has progressed under your supervision and tuition, so very nice to see her holding her own and following all the routines. Thank you!”
To support focus and independence, we ask parents to drop off and collect children after class. However, if your child needs support, let us know—we’ll work with you to ease the transition.
Parents are invited to come and watch the class at the end of each term, so they can see the work that we have been doing with the children.
Q: What if our schedule changes?
No problem! We offer classes at multiple venues during the week and on Saturdays. We’ll help you transfer to another slot if needed.
Q: What is the uniform for this class?
Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, ballet skirt, pink shoes.
Boys: Black leggings or shorts, white top, black ballet shoes.
Items are available via our online uniform shop.
Q: How do you track progress?
We follow the IDTA syllabus. While formal exams begin at Primary level, we nurture readiness through consistent feedback and performance opportunities.
Q: What happens if my child gets upset during class?
We focus on fun and creativity. Our teachers are experienced in gently encouraging participation, and children are never forced. We always prioritise your child’s emotional wellbeing.
