About our classes
Foundation of Excellence
Give your child the gift of a solid ballet foundation. Our experienced instructors follow the renowned IDTA syllabus, ensuring your child learns proper ballet technique with self expression.
Musicality and Memory
Watch your child blossom as they memorise ballet moves and learn to move to the rhythm of the music. We teach them to listen to the prompts in the melodies, fostering musicality and expression.
Performance Mindset
Our class emphasises the art of performance. Exercises build into choreographies, immersing students in the mindset of captivating an audience and embracing ballet terminologies like plies, and tendus.
Collaborative Growth
We empower our young dancers to take responsibility for their own movement. Our class nurtures a sense of ownership, teaching them to be both performers and creators.
What to expect
Our 45-minute class begins with energizing warm-ups, setting the tone for a dynamic and engaging experience. As uniforms are introduced, children embark on a journey of discipline, perseverance, and creative exploration. Join a community of children who share a passion for dance. “It was amazing to see how my child has progressed under your supervision and tuition, so very nice to see her holding her own and following all the routines. Thank you!”
Parents need to drop the children and pick them up at the end of the session, to avoid distraction in the studio. We try and encourage independence, but we do understand that some shy children might need some support at the beginning. Please talk to us if this is your case so we can discuss it.
Parents are invited to come and watch the class at the end of each term, so they can see the work that we have been doing with the children.
